 We have been very busy over the last few months building ponds, landscaping and giving valuable guidance to customers that are building professional koi ponds some in excess of 12,000 gallons. Once these ponds have been fully completed  the photos will be available for viewing but in the meantime if you are deciding on building yourself a 'professional' koi pond then don't hesitate to contact us and we will help you through the build process.

We are now up and running with the new koi which arrived in the UK during summer last year and have grown and developed alot since then. At present there are 55 koi from Yagenji, 23 sanke from Shintaro and 6 kohaku from Hoshikin. If you wish to come and view our facilties and koi give us a call or email to ensure we are available but generally we are very accomodating and will even put the kettle on prior to your arrival. Prices for the Yagenji koi start from £195.

  The photo of this Sanke from Yagenji shows how much the koi has developed over the past 2 months after being moved from an indoor system to an outdoor pond. The koi has grown about 8cm during its time in the outdoor pond but it is the quality of the skin which has improved along with the beni becoming softer and more depth in appearance .The sumi is now jet black like gloss paint and there is still some to come out especially on the shoulder. The white ground is snow white making this koi more desirable and the pattern isn't bad either. This koi has grown from 12cm in June/July to 40cm and is showing traits of becoming a large koi of good quality. 

***Industry News*** 

Peter Waddington has just announced that he has been working on 2 new books over the past 12 months and are being printed as we speak. The release date for both books is 2nd March 2009. Like Peter's previous books the new books are are must read for both the novice and serious Koi keeper alike.
